1. Professor Tenure Track system (TTS) Clinical

Critical Care Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology

Qualifications
MBBS with MD/MS/FCPS/ MDS/Membership of Royal Colleges(UK)/Diplomat of American board or equivalent International terminal qualifications (as determined by HEC) in Clinical Medical Sciences Disciplines.

Statutory Requirements
11 Years Post Terminal Qualification level teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a Postgraduate Institution.

15 research publications (with at least five publications in the past five years ) in journals recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by HEC.

2. Professor Tenure Track system (TTS) Basic Medical Sciences

Chemical Pathology, Hematology, Microbiology, Community Medicine / Public Health

MBBS with PhD from HEC recognized institution in the relevant field or International qualifications (as determined by HEC) in Basic Medical Sciences Discipline.

At least 11 years post PhD level experience in an HEC recognized University or a Postgraduate Institution

15 research publications (with at least five publications in the past five years ) in journals recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by HEC.

3. Professor Tenure Track system (TTS) Allied Health Sciences

Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Para Medical Sciences

PhD Degree/ Terminal qualification in the relevant field (from a HEC recognized Institution)

11 years post PhD or minimum of 7 years of Post PhD experience along with at least 12 years of experience prior to the PhD.(The experience to be counted is to be of teaching/research in recognized University of Postgraduate institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a national or international organization.

15 research publications (with at least five publications in the past five years ) in journals recognized for the purpose of appointment on Tenure Track by HEC.

4. Assistant Professor Tenure Track system (TTS) Allied Health Sciences

Pharmacy Nursing, Physiotherapy, Paramedical Sciences, Molecular Biology

PhD Degree/ Terminal qualification in the relevant field (from a HEC recognized Institution)
Teaching experience in postgraduate Institution will be preferred after Post Graduation.

For PhD degree holders from Pakistan the PhD thesis must be evaluated by two Foreign Experts as per HEC Guidelines for award of PhD degree, In case foreign evaluation was not done then the candidate must provide evidence of two publications in Journals recognized by the HEC.

5. Assistant Professor Tenure Track system (TTS) Clinical Sciences

Critical Care Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Paediatric Critical Medicine, Paediatric Anaesthesia, Paediatric Neurology, Psychiatry

MBBS with MD/MS/FCPS/ MDS/Membership of Royal Colleges(UK)/Diplomat of American board or equivalent International terminal qualifications (as determined by HEC) in Clinical Medical Sciences Disciplines.

Teaching / Clinical experience in postgraduate Institution will be preferred after Post Graduation.

6. Assistant Professor Tenure Track system (TTS) Basic Medical Sciences

Community Medicine, Science of Dental Materials (Public Health)

MBBS / BDS with PhD in relevant field from HEC recognized Institution

Teaching experience in postgraduate Institution will be preferred after Post Graduation.

For PhD degree holders from Pakistan the PhD thesis must be evaluated by two Foreign Experts as per HEC Guidelines for award of PhD degree, In case foreign evaluation was not done then the candidate must provide evidence of two publications in Journals recognized by the HEC.

MBBS , MPH. DPH with MBA with at least 20 years experience in hospital management including at least ten years in a teaching hospital or MBBS, FCPS in clinical subjects or equivalent such as MRCP. FRCS or US Board Certified with 20 years management experience in a teaching hospital.

For TTS appointment for serial 1 -6 apply on TTS performs which is available at www.hecv.gov.pk

Candidate for the post of professor are required to submit five copies of applications along with complete CV. Attested copies of testimonials and research work/publications.

Candidates for the other posts are required to submit five copies of applications on proscribed forms which are available at university website www.szabmu.edu.pk alongwith complete CV, attested copies of testimonials.

Candidate applying for more than one post shall submit separate application along with complete CV, attested copies of testimonials.

Application must accompanied with payorder/ demand draft (non-refundable)of Rs. 1000/- for the post of Professor and Rs. 500/- for other posts drawn in favor of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University. Two Most recent passport size photographs should be affixed on each application.

Candidates already in service of Government / Semi Government Department or an autonomous body must apply through proper channel otherwise their application shall not be entertained.

Incomplete applications and received after the last date will not be entertained.

Complete Application should reach Assistant Registrar (coord) before 15 Dec, 2015 till 4:00PM.

All appointments are tenured and on contract basis.

The number of post can be increased or decrease according to University needs.

The University Reserve the right not to consider any application without giving any reasons.
