Purpose of The Position :
Lead MF transformation considering the strategic guidelines from BRAC International HO, director-MF, Country Representative and country regulatory authorities.
Major Responsibility :
–    To ensure prompt business transformation/formation from existing nature to the new model as envisaged by BRAC International head office and in keeping with the regulatory framework of Pakistan.
–    Liaison with governmental and legal regulatory authorities, and financial institutions including The state bank of Pakistan.
-To develop strategic plans for new entities operations, budgets, and delivery mechanisms in consultation with BRAC International HO, and coordination with Programme Manager of MF.
–    Provide technical support to MF programme operation when required and work closely with MF programme manager to gathering required information and ideas for MF transformation.
-Build and maintain healthy relationship with funding agencies for optimum financial sourcing and acceptability.
–    Work with HR team and programme Manager to ensure capacity development of the MF programme staff.

Technical Advisor for Policy and Market-Based Instruments:
Qualifications and Experience:
– Managing all the project activities and documentation pertaining to climate change mitigation and adaptation.
– Assesses and manages potential public-private-partnership (PPP) and any Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Action (NAMA) projects that the GIZ RE-EE project may support/undertake.
– Advises partner institution(s) on order clarification, identifying needs, developing concepts and strategies, and provides technical input related to energy policies and strategies, regulations for green finance (both large-scale and microfinance) and development/application of market-based instruments including NAMAs and other climate change mechanisms.
– A minimum of 6 years’ professional experience in the energy sector with at least one year with managerial responsibilities. Work experience within the development sector and knowledge of monitoring and evaluation would be considered positives.
– Proven work experience with any development organization.
– Willingness to travel for the performance of his/her duties when required.
